Bob'n Charlie

Some influential individuals inspired (how's that for alliteration?) me at Fan Expo this year and I springboarded off of the charicatures I did of the goldfish Bob and Charlie. I intend to produce a webcomic about it, but in the meantime here's the first teaser segment of smartie-pants Charlie and dumb-ass Bob.

Some of my images are slightly pixilated... I got a new laptop (yay!) but I have yet to install photoshop (sigh) so I'm resizing them in microsoft office picture manager, which... needless to say, does not compare.

Ryukin Goldfish!

I've been doing a little goldfish research, and I think I've fallen for the Ryukin goldfish. They're fat and sassy. The goldfish-memory gag never gets old. Happy sigh. :)

Inspired by twine, I investigated twine in my head while at work. My twine has shit in it. Edit Aug. 12: added another'n that I did today. I figur'd I'd do a series, 'cause they're fun and quick. Edit 2 Aug. 16: final and third installation. I like the gorilla-snake tumor.

T-shirt modification

I bought a book from Michael's that showed me different ways of modifying t-shirts and I had a few t-shirts that I wore rarely or didn't fit properly, and then I went to town at Value Village knowing that I could completely change baggy t-shirts into one's that fit! I'm also making a Brer Rabbit totebag for my mum, and seasonal coasters for our Oakville apartment. :) The cat one looks better wearing a strapless bra, and I've got a little modifying I still want to do to the back of that one. And the hulk one was fun but a bit of a failure, so I'll probably just use the cool braided strap of it on a different shirt.
