An assignment for interpretive illustration class, a spin-off of Eustace Tilley, designed for a postcard. It's meant to be a promotional New Yorker image. The idea is that King Kong dressed up and bought a ticket for a show, but once he arrived on location (Empire State Building) he realized that he WAS the show.
...in my head it was funny. (PS: Happy Remembrance daaay)
