Eustace Kong

An assignment for interpretive illustration class, a spin-off of Eustace Tilley, designed for a postcard. It's meant to be a promotional New Yorker image. The idea is that King Kong dressed up and bought a ticket for a show, but once he arrived on location (Empire State Building) he realized that he WAS the show.

...in my head it was funny. (PS: Happy Remembrance daaay)

Lake Ontario

I biked to the comics store, bought my Wednesday comics. Then I biked to the beach. I sketched in acrylics on a weenie 6x8 canvas board and I art-creeped some guy who was swimming in the yucky water.

Painting, Second Semester.

Transparent watercolours, one 3hr. session

Acrylic, one 3hr session

Acrylic, one 3hr session -- in progress
(the actual image was too large for my scanner, that tangent at the edge of the page thankfully doesn't truly exist).

I should do more extracurricular painting... I love it so much.
